Welcome to Roll’er Dice, the game where the Blade Gods decide your fate and the dice help you build unique and unexpected combinations.
How to Play: Roll both dice and combine them to determine your move. Roll multiple times to build a combo! Once you have mastered it, roll another!
Reading the Dice:
D4 (4-sided): Determines the direction (front/back) and stance (open/closed). Open means your hips and knees are spreading and opening, closed means your knees and hips are converging and closing. See this article for a more thorough explanation: Terminology Definitions
- Front Open
- Front Closed
- Back Open
- Back Closed
D20 (20-sided): Determines the trick.
- Gazelle: 2-footed 3-turn
- Lion: 1-footed 3-turn
- Gazelle S: 2-footed 3-turn then revert 3-turn with complementary stance (if first gazelle is back open, the revert will be front closed)
- Lion S: 1-footed 3-turn then revert 3-turn with complementary stance (if first gazelle is back open, the revert will be front closed)
- Toe Pivot: rolling foot carves around a toe pivot point
- Heel Pivot: rolling foot carves around a heel pivot point
- Toe Press: rolling on 2 feet on only the toes/front wheels
- Heel Press: rolling on 2 feet only on the heels/rear wheels
- Toe Roll: rolling on 1 foot on only the toes/front wheels
- Heel Roll: rolling on 1 foot only on the heels/rear wheels
- Daffy: rolling on 2 feet, with 1 on the heel/rear wheel and 1 on the toe/front wheel
- Eagle: rolling on 2 feet with heels pointed toward each other toes pointed away from each other. Also referred to as open book or crab
- Cross: rolling on 2 feet with legs crossed
- Stunami: swivel on 2 feet with legs crossed. Stay on the outside edge on both feet, like a Unity grind pose. Spin in the direction of the foot that is crossed in front. The feet should stay parallel.
- Tornado: swivel on 2 feet with parallel edges, keeping 1 on inside edge and 1 on outside edge, like a Royale or Farvergnügen grind pose.
- Monsoon: swivel on 2 feet with both feet on the inside edges, like a UFO grind pose.
- Typhoon: swivel on 2 feet with both feet on the outside edges and knees wide, like a Cab Driver grind pose.
- Fan Volt: swivel on 2 feet with legs crossed. Stay on the outside edge on both feet, like a Savannah grind pose. Spin in the direction of the foot that is crossed behind. The toes may converge during the spin.
- 180 Jump: jump off of either 1 or 2 feet, and spin around halfway to face the other direction.
- 360 Jump: jump off of either 1 or 2 feet, and spin all the way around landing facing the same direction
